Three Events Mark Texas Wine Month at Hill Country Resort Carter Creek Winery Resort & Spa in Johnson City, Texas is rolling out an October calendar anchored by three separate experiential offerings timed to Texas Wine Month.

Boots, Barrels and Heroes Festival The resort's headline event takes place Saturday, October 3 at 3 p.m., featuring live performances by the Josh Abbott Band, Red Dirt act Kin Faux, and country artist Logan Papp. General admission is $59 and includes access to food and beverage vendors, sponsor activations, and a silent charity auction benefiting those who have served. Children 10 and under enter free with a paid adult. A $125 add-on offers a meet-and-greet with the bands before their performance.

Battle of the Breweries Dinner On Saturday, October 17, from 6:30 to 10 p.m., Carter Creek's on-site Old 290 Brewery & Restaurant will host a four-course beer pairing dinner pitting its own beers against selections from Cibolo Creek Brewing Company. Each course pairs with a brew from one of the two Texas breweries. Tickets are $120 for non-members and $100 for members. A two-night package, available starting Friday, October 16, bundles two dinner tickets with resort accommodations.

Wine, Bourbon & Beer Package Throughout October, Tuesday through Saturday, Carter Creek is offering a one-night stay package starting at $169 that includes wine and beer tastings at the resort plus an elevated whiskey flight at nearby Garrison Brothers Distillery in Hye, Texas.
